Here are some local groups to who we help out:
There are many members and committee chairs who monitor local legislation and regulatory policy for the impact it may have on private property rights and the ability to freely buy, sell, and lease property. We have used grass root efforts in the past successfully and will continue to use them in the future to protect the American Dream of homeownership.
The Lebanon Board of REALTORS® opted to belong to the Missouri Association of REALTORS® State-wide process for handling complaints. You may contact our local Professional Standards chair to assist you or follow the link for more information on Ethics, Arbitration, and the Missouri Real Estate Commission.
CODE OF ETHICS
The REALTORS® Code of Ethics was established over 100 years ago to unite the real estate profession. The Code establishes obligations that may be higher than those mandated by law.
The REALTOR® Code of Ethics is a key factor separating REALTORS® from other real estate practitioners as they hold the REALTOR® to a higher level of professionalism in the industry.
All Lebanon board members are REALTORS® and Ethics training is a requirement.
Professional Standards Policy is found in the NAR Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual found below.
- 2023 Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice | National Association of REALTORS®
